Dataset to be extracted from the ERP or MES System
A Microsoft Excel Template will be provided with all the tabs & fields required for a first ACLIPS run.
Resource Availability
This tab is representing the resource availability on a 24/7 calendar, or how many hours can be made available in a full week of 168 hours. If that Cell or Workcenter has multiple machines it can be reflected in the field 'Qty'.Fields
- <Machine ID> - Each machine, cell or workcenter used in the ACLIPS Dataset gets a 'sequential' number
- <Qty> - Number of individual machines within a cell or workcenter
- <Availability 24/7> - Actual number of hours available/168 (24 hours, 7 days)
- <Machine Name> - Identification of Cell, Machine or Workcenter in the ERP System
ProductsThis tab is representing all the required information about all the products/materials produced on the Resources.
Fields- <Product ID> - Each product or material produced gets a 'sequential' number (1, 2, 3, ...)- <Average Demand> - This is the average qty of all periods with a positive demand (D, W, M, ...) in the ERP System- <IAT> - Stands for 'Inter Arrival Time' and represents the average number of days between the periods with a positive demand- <SCV> - Squared Coefficient of Variation of the IAT. A measure of the stochasticity of the demand
- <#Operations> - Number of Active Operations in the Routing - <Lotsize> - Current Average Lotsize extracted from the ERP System
- <Product Number> - Product or Material Identification in the ERP System- <QMin> - Extra Parameter in the dataset to set a minimum limit for the optimal lotsizes. To prevent 'unrealistic' or 'unwanted' lotsizes
- <QMax> - Extra Parameter in the dataset to set a maximum limit for the optimal lotsizes. To prevent 'unrealistic' or 'unwanted' lotsizes
- <Comment> - Optional Comment Field
Routings
This tab is representing all the required information about all the routings for the products/materials
Fields- <Product Number> - Product or Material Identification in the ERP System. See Products.- <Machine ID> - Each machine, cell or workcenter used in the ACLIPS Dataset gets a 'sequential' number. See Resources.- <Setup> - Standard setup time for this operation in hours- <Variance SU> - Statistical Variance on the historical setup time- <Runtime> - Standard process time per piece for this operation in hours - <Variance Runtime> - Statistical Variance on the historical process time.- <Operation> - Operation Number (e.g. 0010, 0020, 0030, ...) from ERP System.- <Comment> - Optional Comment Field
Additional Tabs are available for Bill-of-Material Structures if needed
