Our Service
SupplySquare has introduced a new service built around ACLIPS, a Capacity and Lead Time Integrated Procedure for Scheduling. This offering is designed to help manufacturing and supply chain teams optimize their lot sizes and lead times based on real-world resource constraints and routing details. The process begins with the customer receiving an MS Excel template, which is structured to align with typical ERP system exports. This template consists of three mandatory & essential tabs and two optional tabs
1) Resource/Machine Availability (24/7 Calendar)
2) Demand Profile (Average Demand & Frequency)
3) Routing Details (Including Setup & Process Details)
4) BOM Headers (optional)
5) BOM Details (optional)
Once the Excel file is completed, the customer simply sends it via email to SupplySquare. The data is then converted into the appropriate format for processing in the iCLIPS application. This leads to the first stage of the service, known as EVALUATION. In this mode, the data is analysed using the existing lot-sizing logic from the ERP extract. A Microsoft Teams meeting is scheduled with the customer to walk through the findings. During this session, the SupplySquare team reviews the outputs, identifies any issues or bottlenecks, and discusses potential improvements or necessary adjustments to the dataset.
Following any updates based on the EVALUATION review, the process moves into the OPTIMIZATION phase. In this stage, iCLIPS recalculates lot sizes to achieve minimal lead times while respecting the actual capacity and routing constraints. Another TEAMS meeting is held to present the optimized results and explain the impact of the changes. After this review, SupplySquare provides a full report that includes all relevant data, allowing the customer to easily update their ERP system with new, optimized lot sizes and lead times. This service enables a seamless, data-driven improvement cycle for production planning and scheduling.
